Finance & Commerce Honors Woodbury Woman

Woodbury resident Ann Yekaldo is among this year's “Top Women In Finance” as determined by Finance & Commerce, a Minneapolis-based daily business publication.

Yekaldo is president of The Private Client Group with U.S. Bank. Three other U.S. Bank employees were honored as well.

“U.S. Bank is one of the strongest banks and best places to work as a result of outstanding leadership. These women exemplify that distinction. The U.S. Bank team is very proud of these women for their contributions to the company and community,” Elliot Jaffee, president of U.S. Bank in the Twin Cities, said in a statement. “Most importantly, they are active as mentors, providing colleagues with professional development that grows our future leaders that help create opportunities for all employees.”

Yekaldo was also a 2008 “Top Women in Finance” honoree and was named to its Circle of Excellence, according to a release.

At U.S. Bank, Yekaldo leads a cross-functional team charged with expanding The Private Client Group brand into branches across the company’s 25-state footprint.

Yekaldo’s span of community involvement includes serving as a board member and painting houses for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, being a board member for Neighborhood House in St. Paul and for Fifty Lanterns International.

This is the program’s 11th anniversary. The honorees were recognized at an awards dinner in November at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis.
