The East Suburban Chaplaincy Corps is designed to support the efforts of Public Safety agencies by offering spiritual guidance and pastoral-counseling assistance to people experiencing crisis situations. 

It also facilitates support networks for people in crisis when they exist and as deemed appropriate. Volunteer chaplains are available at the request of members of public safety agencies and staff members to minister to them and their families in times of illness, injury, sorrow, and tension.

The Chaplaincy Corps serves the communities of Woodbury, Cottage Grove, St. Paul Park and Oakdale.
