Cheers! Unique Art Studio to Open in Woodbury
Cheers Pablo will open in Tamarack Village early next year.
Think it would be fun to have a glass of wine and do some painting with your friends?
Cheers Pablo, a new art studio that will offer classes and events taught by local artists, is set to open in Woodbury’s Tamarack Village in early January 2013.
The business will host corporate events, kids birthday parties and other functions in two rooms at the space, between Viking Blinds and LensCrafters at 8362 Tamarack Village, said CEO John Bedard, who lives in Woodbury.
People can check the Cheers Pablo website to see its calendar of events and sign up for painting sessions, he said.
It will be the first Cheers Pablo to open, Bedard said.
“There is a real need for it in the community and we hope to inspire a lot of people,” he said.
Bedard’s wife, Chriscell, is a local artist, and teachers will come from area schools or Community Education, he said.
It’s meant to be a “social gathering-type spot,” Bedard said.
“The main objective is that everybody has a great time,” he said.
There will be two rooms at the space, and Cheers Pablo is working on securing a liquor license from the city, Bedard said.
It should be open by Jan. 8, 2013.

My best friend and I have taken two classes at CheersPablo. THEY ARE A BLAST! Absolutely worth every penny. Our instructor for both classes was Julia. She is a great person, with broad taste in music, a great sense of humor, and an extreme talent when it comes to painting. The owners are such nice people, and have been there / available if needed!
Rainy day? GO HERE. Group with nothing to do? GO HERE. First date? GO HERE. LivingSocial has a pretty good deal running right now (also posted on the CheersPablo website) if you're afraid to pay full price for something you may hate. Trust me though, you'll want to go back.

Cool! Thanks Amy. It does look really fun. I'm not much of an artist, but it would be fun to chill and have a beer and create something.
