Coke Bust in Woodbury
The Washington County Narcotics Task Force on Wednesday arrested two men who now face second-degree drug charges.
Two men were arrested Wednesday evening on Lake Road in Woodbury on second-degree drug sale charges.
The Washington County Narcotics Task Force, as part of a "routine investigation," took Veasna Phan, 30, and Chamrouen Phan, 29, into custody at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near SuperAmerica, said Sgt. Andy Ellickson with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Between 4 and 5 grams of cocaine was found, Ellickson said. Both men have been charged. He was unsure if they were related.
The apprehension was routine, Ellickson said, though due of the nature of the arrest one lane of traffic was blocked off as authorities checked for weapons and made the arrests. No weapons were found, he said.
