East Ridge Takes Woodbury 9-4 in Softball

Powered by a Taylor LeMay grand slam, the Raptors were able to beat their cross-town rivals on Monday.

Led by Taylor LeMay's grand slam, the Raptors defeated Woodbury High School's softball team 9-4. 

Raptors pitcher Samantha Gregory held the Royals to seven hits and notched eight strikeouts. 

Woodbury pitcher Abbie Morris contributed a late-inning solo home run, but it wasn't enough for the Royals, who will head to White Bear Lake for Suburban East Conference action on Thursday. East Ridge meets Roseville on Thursday.
