Kosama Workout Studio Now Open in Woodbury
It opened in the former Blockbuster space off Valley Creek Road.
Kosama—a new workout studio that sends members an email with their results after a session—opened about two weeks ago in Woodbury.
Located in the former Blockbuster space at 1960 Donegal Drive, Kosama features small group workouts, and focuses on muscle confusion, nutrition and consultation.
It uses “heart-zone training” and offers an eight-week money-back guarantee, said Jim Martin, director of sales.
“The needle moves quickly,” he said.
Kosama primarily has locations in the Midwest and offers six types of classes, Martin said. Customers wear a monitor around their chest that tracks the intensity of their workout and compiles information sent to clients via email. Progress is also tracked live on video monitors in the studio.
"Kosama is a unique one of a kind group training program that is designed to accommodate all fitness levels in a team-like atmosphere," Martin said.
