Meet U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum’s Staff Tuesday in Woodbury
The congresswoman will begin her monthly constituent service hours Feb. 19 in Woodbury.
Congresswoman Betty McCollum’s staff will be available for constituents from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at City Hall.
The Democrat, now representing Woodbury following redistricting and her 4th Congressional District win, will hold monthly constituent service hours at Woodbury City Hall, according to a release from her office.
The events will be held the third Tuesday of each month to “assist residents with matters related to the federal government,” the release says.
“It is an honor to represent residents of Woodbury in Minnesota’s new Fourth Congressional District,” McCollum said in a statement. “As the federal representative for this area, one of my duties in Congress is to ensure that the federal government is responsive to Minnesotans' specific needs, which is also known as constituent casework. Navigating the federal government can be confusing at times. When difficulties arise, my staff is available to help answer questions, find information and resources, or address challenges. My staff and I look forward to the opportunity to meet with residents to discuss how my office is available to help.”
McCollum also thanked Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens, Woodbury City Council members and the city for the space.
Residents are welcome to contact Congresswoman McCollum’s office at 651-224-9191 to schedule an appointment.
