The following information was obtained from recent police reports.

Jan. 22

An $8,000 trailer that was stolen from a construction site at the 1600 block of Deephaven Drive turned up at a park in Anoka County, along with another stolen vehicle out of Vadnais Heights. About $20,000 in equipment was reported missing from the trailer.

A home had its garage service door broken down but nothing was missing from the home.

The battery of a Ford Taurus parked at Outback Steakhouse was stolen.

Jan. 23

A vehicle stolen out of Hudson, Wis., turned up at the 500 block of Gateway Place.

A man called police after getting text messages and phone calls from an unknown number describing in detail what his girlfriend was wearing while they were inside their home. It was later learned that a friend was playing a prank.

Jan. 24

A man who had gotten into a fight with his roommate in Eagan planned to spend some time in the parking lot of Life Time Fitness, where he is a member. Police suggested he get permission.

A Farmers Insurance office at the 600 block of Bielenberg Drive was reported burglarized. Nothing appeared to be missing but several cabinets were pried open. An alarm was also tripped at a nearby dental office.

Police were called to a fender bender at the intersection of Radio Drive and Central Park Place, and one driver was arrested on suspicion of DWI.

Officers determined a woman’s story didn’t make sense when she told them she offered a man gas money for a ride to Maple Grove, but they instead drove around the metro area and ended up in Woodbury. She said she called 911 when he refused to take her home, and said the incident was not related to sex or drugs. She was intoxicated but did not appear upset. The woman was transported to Denny’s where she was picked up by a taxi.

Jan. 25

Horner Family Eyecare was broken into but nothing was missing.

A resident’s car at the 6700 block of Jenny Lane was rifled through, but nothing was taken. The homeowner had forgot to close the garage door the night before.

Jan. 26

Police were called after a man became upset because management at an apartment building entered his unit without telling him. He was yelling and pounded on a desk.

Jan. 27

Police confirmed that an officer had called a woman earlier, and not her estranged husband. She felt better.

There was significant water damage at a home at the 3100 block of Juniper Lane. The family was on vacation when the incident occurred.

Jan. 28

A Woodbury resident called police after a neighbor threw a snowball at her dog, which was barking at the time. There have been previous issues between the two.

About five gallons of an unknown liquid/egg mixture was poured on a car the driveway of a home where a poker game was underway. The homeowner told police he suspected it was his neighbor—they have had ongoing issues and the neighbor is no longer welcome at poker. The neighbor denied any involvement. Police have previously met with the families involved and advised them to stay away from each other.

A resident at the 11000 block of Stonemill Farms Curve reported seeing suspicious footprints in the snow.

A resident at the 1700 block of Lamplight Drive called police after getting a phone call from a woman claiming to be her granddaughter saying she was in jail and needed money. Police told the resident (who does not have a granddaughter) that it was a scam. She told officers that if the woman calls back, she would tell her to “stay in jail.”
