T.G.I. Friday’s Closes Woodbury Location

Apparently, not enough people were pleased that the week was ending.
closed its Woodbury location at the end of the business day on Monday, Sept. 12.
A company spokesperson would not comment on the specifics of why it closed.

“It was a difficult decision to shut the doors of this restaurant, but based on the natural ebb and flow of individual locations, (T.G.I.) Friday’s opens new restaurants and in rare occasions closes others,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
When possible, the employees there will be relocated to other T.G.I. Friday's restaurants. The next closest location is in Maplewood.

“We can assure our local guests that we remain dedicated to providing quality service, food, and an excellent dining atmosphere in the surrounding area,” the spokesperson said.
