Valley Creek Road Construction Update: Sept. 21
Washington County on Friday sent out the latest information about the project.
Washington County transportation officials on Friday sent out the latest information about the Valley Creek Road construction project.
Below is the update:
This week, patch work and turn lanes have been paved on the eastbound lanes on Valley Creek Road. Today and tomorrow, additional access will open at most of the intersections.
Starting Saturday, September 22 and lasting through next week, work will begin on the trails, sidewalks and pedestrian ramps along the entire project. Please be aware of this work if you will be traveling on foot or bike.
It is anticipated that traffic will be switched to the eastbound lanes on September 30. Milling work will be done the first week of October and the concrete will be poured the following two weeks. As always with construction projects this schedule is subject to change.
Again, thank you for your patience during construction and as always, please use caution as you travel through the construction.
