Woodbury 10 Theatre to Double Security in Wake of Aurora Shooting
The theater says it will “always continue to be vigilant.”
Woodbury 10 Theatre plans to double its security this weekend in the wake of the Aurora, Colo., theater shooting that ended with 12 people dead and at least 59 injured.
Nathan Block, co-owner of Woodbury 10 Theatre, said the cinema has had one full-time security guard for more than two years.
The Dark Knight Rises is being shown at the theater.
In an email to Patch, Block said:
Although this situation is beyond tragic, I do not have any major concerns for the Woodbury 10 Theatre. We have been very fortunate that over the last 12 years, all of the customer problems we have experienced have been extremely minor in comparison. That said, we will always continue to be vigilant and the security and safety of our customers and employees will remain a first priority.

Talked to the PD this morning. There were extra patrols at the theater Friday night.
