Woodbury Girls Soccer Bows Out Of State Tourney

The Woodbury girls soccer team lost its Class AA quarterfinal matchup with Burnsville on Friday at Park Cottage Grove.

The Royals lost 1-0, eliminating them from the tournament. Burnsville moved on to face Centennial on Monday in the state semifinals. Game time is set for 4 p.m.

The lone goal in the game came from Burnsville’s Abby Soderholm, who scored at the 52:06 mark. 

The Blaze (16-4-0) had seven shots on goal in the game. Woodbury (15-4-1) finished with six shots on goal.
