A group of kids 8-10-years old will perform songs from the television show at 3:30 p.m. today, Friday, June 22, at Central Park in Woodbury.

The students chose the songs and came up with their own choreography for the event, part of a Mayer Arts camp, said Nyssa Hughes, who was instructing the youngsters during a rehearsal Thursday at the Central Park amphitheater.

The children have been rehearsing three hours a day for the weeklong program, Hughes said.

It’s free to attend today’s performance.
