Pres., Washington County Library Partners, a charity group raising money for our public libraries.

Countdown to $10,000!

The deadline is getting close!  For every dollar Washington County Library Partners raises by September, a generous anonymous donor has agreed to match it dollar for dollar — up to $10,000.

So far, we've raised $3,000 (just got another check today, thanks Pete & Marcia!).  All the money goes to our "2012 in 2012" campaign. We want to raise enough money to buy 2,012 books for the Washington County Public Libraries.  Tight budgets have forced library administrators to cut the book buying budget this year.

If we're able to raise $10,000 by September 30th, the $10,000 match will give us $20,000.  And that just happens to be the amount of money we need for 2,012 books.

Children's books — and LARGE PRINT books for adults with vision problems are the most critical need.  Can you help?  Your gift is tax deductible.  To find out how to contribute or get more info, our website is www.librarypartners.org.  Thanks!
