Potentially Good News for Distressed Homeowners
Although we are waiting for Obama to sign this legislation into law, Congress has extended the mortgage debt relief provision for one more year on a principal residence.
This would allow distressed homeowners another option besides Foreclosure for at
least one more year.
Short sales are not for everyone, but a foreclosure is not the only option either.
