Have you ever looked in the night sky and wondered... “What was it in the night sky that led the wise men to Bethlehem?”
Modern Astronomy reveals the likely identity and timing of the Star of Bethlehem, which confirms the accuracy of the scriptural story of the Magi in the book of Matthew.
Find out when Jesus was really born, and what the real timeline of the Christmas story was. Find out what new information has come to light, when amateur astronomer, Charlie Cowman gives an updated version of a talk on the Star of Bethlehem first made famous by the late University of Minnesota astronomy professor Karlis Kaufmanis.
Join the community in hearing about "The Real Star of Bethlehem" on Tuesday, December 4, from: 6:30-7:30 p.m. at King of Kings Church.
Weather permitting; telescopes will be available for viewing the night sky and all that it has to offer.
There is no charge for this presentation and it is appropriate for families with older children.
King of Kings Lutheran Church is located at 1583 Radio Drive in Woodbury.
