Balance.  Is there such a thing?  Or are we really looking for workable ways that allow our careers and caregiving responsibilities to fit together in better ways?  Girls grew into women, told they could "have it all" -- but does the reality always fit that promise?  Or have we reached a crossroads when it comes to what the workplace and our families expect of us?  What does "having it all" really mean?  Better yet, how do you break into the workplace or make those adjustments when the path doesn't seem clear?

October marks National Work & Family Month -- add your voice to the conversation at our next chapter meeting!  Members of our Mothers & More chapter will be serving on a discussion panel to share their experiences and insights -- real Minnesota moms who are exploring how to combine paid work and Motherhood.

We will have an honest and practical discussion of the options available to mothers who want to work and, in many cases, are bringing home a paycheck essential to the family financial picture.
