DESCRIPTION:Pilates is a series of floor toning exercises designed to str
 engthen and stabilize your core abdominals\, low back\, and glutes while
  offering mobility\, strength\, alignment\, and body awareness as you co
 mplete the exercises. Through intentional breath patterning\, the mind-b
 ody learns to work as an integrated whole. Experience\, explore and mast
 er the five pilates principles of breathing and body alignment while lea
 rning the first eight to ten "essential" exercises. Structured like a fi
 tness class\, it is open to all levels\, even those with no prior pilate
 s experience. Beginners welcome. Exercises are done without shoes.&nbsp\
 ; Please bring your own mat and towel. This class has been increased fro
 m 45 to 55 minutes.&nbsp\; No class on Dec. 3.
