Consider giving to a nearby nonprofit Nov. 14 on Give to the Max Day.

Thousands of Minnesota nonprofits are asking supporters to maximize their charitable dollars by donating during GiveMN.org’s Give to the Max Day on Nov. 14.

The event offers incentives to inspire nonprofit and donor participation.

  • Many organizations offer a donation match that allows donors to double their donation.
  • Two donors—one who gave to a nonprofit and another who gave to a school—will be randomly chosen every hour to have $1,000 added to their donation.
  • There will be two $10,000 “Super-sized Golden Tickets” randomly drawn at the end of the event.
  • And the five nonprofits and schools that raise the most money during each of five power hours will win a $1,000 prize grant.

Prizes will also be available in four categories:
