The "Mitten Ladies" at Woodbury Lutheran are back this year, selling their famous mittens at local craft shows and bake sales.
100% of the proceeds from the mittens, hand-finished and made from repurposed, donated sweaters, supports Robin's Nest Children's Home in Montego Bay, Jamaica. To-date, mitten sales have netted nearly $100,000, the money used to purchase vehicles to transport the kids, a holding tank to provide safe, accessible water, appliances and more.
One-of-a-kind art designed to impact the lives of children in need, at $20/pair, the mittens are a perfect Christmas gift.
