WOODBURY MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE
WOODBURY MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE to be held at the Veterans Memorial at the Woodbury City Hall Campus on MONDAY MAY 26, 2014 – 11:00 AM and hosted by the Woodbury V.F.W. (Veterans of Foreign Wars) POST 9024 and Woodbury American Legion Post 501.
This year’s ceremony will have WWII Veteran, PFC Herbert “Herb” Suerth Jr. delivering the Memorial Day address. PFC Suerth was a member of the famous 101st Airborne Division’s Easy Company 2/506 (Band of Brothers) who was wounded in the Battle of Bastogne. Music will be performed by the Minnesota State Fire Service Memorial Pipe Band and a Three Volley Salute will be performed by the Joint Ceremonial Rifle Squad along with the Minnesota National Guard – Honor Guard Flag Detail.
