A Guide to Easter Weekend in Woodbury

From brunches to church services, there are plenty of ways to enjoy this holiday weekend in Woodbury.

Families and Christians across the community will celebrate the Easter weekend with religious ceremonies, traditional celebrations and, most likely, a visit from the Easter Bunny as well.

Here’s a rundown of some activities in and around Woodbury this holiday weekend.

New Life Church will . at the church. Cost is $12.

King of Kings Lutheran Church will host Good Friday Services Friday at 6:30 p.m. It’s one of six worship opportunities throughout the weekend, as well, including Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday services.

Christ Episcopal Church will have its Easter Vigil services at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 30.  

Easter Brunch

Woodbury Patch users selected Sunsets as “Best Brunch” in our 2012 Readers’ Choice program. The restaurant’s traditional Sunday Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Green Mill in Woodbury is hosting an Easter Brunch this weekend as well, with Sunday seating opening at 9 a.m.

Easter Egg Hunt

Christ Episcopal Church in Woodbury will be hosting an old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt Sunday morning at the church. Check the listing for more information about directions. The event will hatch at 10 a.m.

Meet the Easter Bunny

Fannie May candies will be hosting the Easter Bunny Saturday prior to his big day Sunday. He’ll show up at the Tamarack Village site around noon. Bring your own camera for photos with the bunny.
