'Big Buck Hunter' Hopeful Beat by Fellow Woodbury Player

Woodbury resident Clay Conrad recently lost to another local player in the Big Buck World Championship in New York City.

A Woodbury resident vying for the Big Buck World Championship title was defeated by another local resident in the championship.

Clay Conrad, who frequently plays the Big Buck Hunter arcade game in Riley's Pub in Oakdale, participated in the fifth annual Big Buck World Championship in New York City Nov. 9-10. 

Conrad received the highest qualifying score in the nation when he competed to enter the championship. He competed against the top 63 players across the nation for a grand prize of $15,000.

Local resident Josh Bielke, whose address is listed as being Woodbury, beat Conrad during the championship.

Conrad received 33rd place in the championship. Bielke took sixth place and qualified third in the North Region, which includes Minnesota among three other Midwest states.
