Celebrate New Year's Eve, Family Style, in Woodbury

The city's annual event usually sells out.

Families with children too young to ring in the New Year at midnight can head to the Bielenberg Sports Center for Woodbury’s annual event.

The city’s Parks & Recreation Department will host its New Year's Eve Family Celebration from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31.

The official countdown to 2013 will begin at 8:45 p.m.

The event is geared toward families with kids under 12, according to Elizabeth Owens, recreation technician.

Tickets cost $8 if ordered by noon on Friday, Dec. 28. If still available, tickets will be sold for $10 at the door.

This event usually sells out, Owens said. People can order tickets by calling 651-714-3583.

Concessions and skate rentals will be available for an additional charge. There are more than 80 raffle prizes donated by local businesses.

The New Year's Eve Family Celebration will also include:

  • Inflatable jumpers
  • Obstacle courses
  • Mini golf
  • Deejay
  • Crafts
  • “Candy guess”
  • Ice skating exhibition
  • Open skating
  • Raffle prizes
  • Bingo
