Grab & Go Kids Planner
The new Wednesday feature providing tips about when to grab the kids and where to go.
Woodbury Patch has assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities both locally and within sturdy stone’s throw. Look for the Grab & Go each Wednesday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips—just add them to the comment box. Patch wants to hear from you!
Family best bets of the week include water, books, magic and socks.
Where/When: At the pool on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 to 6 p.m.
Why Go: No experience required so it’s a perfect opportunity for teens to try something new, particularly this time of year.
Price: Free
Where/When: on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Why Go: Take advantage of a short reprieve from your every day routine to take your preschool aged children to enjoy a short bout of stories, finger plays and music. Siblings are welcome to tag along.

Where/When: In the Indoor Amphitheater on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.
Why Go: You can’t pass up free entertainment, especially when it comes to magician!
Price: Free
KIDS NIGHT OUT
Where/When: on Saturday Feb. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Why Go: Parents can have a few hours alone while the kids (ages 1-10 years) play games, enjoy open gym time and eat pizza with trained YMCA staff.
Price: $15 per child for Members, $20 per child for Non-members; Pre-registration is required, contact Jenny at (651) 259-9603 for more information.
Where/When: At the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (8260 4th St. N, Oakdale) in the Social Hall on Saturday, Feb. 19 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Why Call: Enjoy a great family friendly event with music and games while supporting an American Cancer Society Relay for Life Team.
