Grab & Go Kids Planner

The Wednesday feature providing tips about when to grab the kids and where to go.

Woodbury Patch has assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities both locally and within sturdy stone’s throw. Look for the Grab & Go each Wednesday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips—just add them to the comment box. Patch wants to hear from you!



Where/When: on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Why Go: Take advantage of a short reprieve from your every day routine to stimulate your baby (0-24 months) with stories and music. Siblings are welcome to tag along.
Price: Free



Where/When: on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m.
Why Go: Caldecott winner Philip Stead will share a story and activity.
Price: Free

   

Where/When: on Thursday, Feb. 24 from 5:30-8 p.m.
Why Go: It’s tacos and Bingo, what more can we say?
Price: $3 for dinner and 25 cent Bingo cards



Where/When: Park High School (8040 80th St. S., Cottage Grove) on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Students, parents and community members can hear Dr. Kent Pekel address the term “college readiness," what it is and how students become it.
Price: Free



Where/When: on Saturday Feb. 26 from 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: See what all that jazz is really all about.
Price: $7 Adults (13+), $5 Children (5-12) & Students with ID
