Grab & Go Kids Planner

The Wednesday feature providing tips about when to grab the kids and where to go.

Woodbury Patch has assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities both locally and within sturdy stone’s throw. Look for the Grab & Go each Wednesday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips—just add them to the comment box. Patch wants to hear from you!

FAMILY PIZZA NIGHT   

Where/When: Minnesota Children’s Museum (10 West Seventh St., St. Paul), March 11-12, with seatings at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Why Go: Take the family to explore the endless exhibits and take a break for dinner. Ideal for ages 2-10.
Price: $3 plus museum admission of $8.95; reserve a spot here.



Where/When: at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 11
Why Go: Finding Nemo (Rated G/100 minute run time) will swim his way into your heart.
Price: $3 per person includes unlimited popcorn and refreshments

  

Where/When: Park Grove Branch Library (7900 Hemingway Ave. S., Cottage Grove) from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12
Why Go: Kids (grades 1-7) will be so at ease with the furry friends that they will forget all about the woes of reading out loud.
Price: Free, but call the library at 651-459-2040 to reserve a 15 minute time slot

KING TUT

Where/When: The Science Museum of Minnesota (120 West Kellogg Boulevard, St. Paul) is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Why Go: Don’t miss the Golden Boy’s first trip to Minnesota.
Price: Adults $25-30, children (4-12 yrs) $16-18
