The Sobiech family gave the University of Minnesota a check for $568,000 on behalf of Zach Saturday afternoon during the Gopher football game at TCF Bank Stadium.

Researchers at the U of M will use the money to help prevent and cure osteosarcoma. Proceeds from the sale of Clouds and YouTube views of the viral video are donated to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund via the Children's Cancer Research Fund.

During Stillwater's homecoming week, a pancake breakfast will be held at the high school on Oct. 5 from 8-10:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets cost $5, and will also be donated to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund.
