American Kestrels

In collaboration with Washington County Parks, Warner Nature Center will present a campfire program on American Kestrels at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

Discover the advantages and disadvantages of being a top predator when meeting a live American Kestrel. Learn why falcons are such efficient hunters and how DDT almost wiped out the peregrine falcon and other raptors.

The program is free as long as a $5 permit has been purchased for the vehicle.
