Fine Silver Fusing - Stackable Rings, Earrings, Pendants and Bangles

Learn to shape wire around a mandrel and fuse it with a small crème brule torch to create beautiful and unique rings. These rings can be sized to become stackable rings, or hammered flat to become a pendant, earrings, or bangle bracelet. You will have the option of stamping designs into your pieces using jewelry hammers and metal stamps. See various finishing techniques including tumbling and adding patinas. A supply cost of $25 is payable to the instructor in class and covers 12 inches of fine (.999 pure) silver, enough to make one bangle and a couple of rings. Chain nose pliers, flush wire cutter, butane torch, hammers, and fire brick will be available for use.
