Power of the Purse

After three sell-out years, the fourth annual Power of the Purse event moves to a new location to accommodate past attendees while welcoming newcomers.

This year’s keynote speaker is Rachel Swardson, an author, mother and entrepreneur who founded her company Bavia (formerly Go Home Gorgeous) in the midst of a crashing economy and personal heartbreak. She will share the joy she found in the JOurneY of strengthening others at an incredibly fragile time in her life. Her company Bavia services 16 hospitals in three states to help patients heal faster and feel better. The name Bavia is a variation on a Hindi word meaning “inner beauty."

This year’s event not only includes an uplifting speaker, but also a brunch and silent auction that will feature hundreds of unique, stylish purses for attendees of all ages, children through mature adult.
