First Art Show for Woodbury's Merrill Community Arts Center

The show will feature driftwood art, stained glass and clay sculptures from local artist, Tom "Prop Man" Bray.

The Merrill Community Arts Center on Friday announced plans its inaugural art show.

The show will feature driftwood art, stained glass and clay sculptures from local artist, Tom “Prop Man” Bray.

Bray, a 30-year veteran of prop-making with Woodbury Community Theatre, is also a multimedia artist.

His work will be available for viewing and sale during the following show dates and times:

  • Thursday, June 13: 4-8 p.m. (opening night reception with wine and cheese)

  • Friday, June 14: 4-8 p.m. (popcorn and root beer)

  • Saturday, June 15: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (make a free Father’s Day card as part of a "mini-art project")

  • Sunday, June 16: Noon to 4 p.m. (get 10 percent off art purchases)
  • The show will be held at the Rivertown Campus of the Merrill Community Arts Center, 380 Rivertown Drive, suite 200, in Woodbury.
