Broadway Comes Calling in Woodbury

Woodbury Community Theatre's production of Stars on Broadway opens Friday.

Some of Broadway’s biggest musical hits will ring out at this weekend and next for ’s latest production.

Stars on Broadway will feature songs from The Lion King, Wicked, Bye Bye Birdie, Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Annie and Les Miserables. Ninety people will hit the Loft Stage at East Ridge for the show.

Stars on Broadway opens with a 7:30 p.m. performance on Friday. Shows continue at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, with a 7:30 p.m. performance Friday, March 30. The final performance is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, March 31.

Tickets cost $15 for adults; $12 for seniors (65 or older); and $10 for students (5-17). It’s free for kids under 5. For ticket information, visit the Woodbury Community Theatre’s website.

Stars on Broadway is being produced by Carla McGough, Michelle Witte and Michael Hamerlind. Lori Sager is directing.
