Each school in the district has back to school events to prepare for the 2013-14 school year.

Schools throughout the district are preparing to welcome students in grades 1-12 for the first day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The first day of school for kindergarten student varies by elementary schools, and parents can expect to receive this information directly from their child’s school. Each school in the district has back to school events to prepare for the 2013-14 school year.

  • Bailey Elementary: Open House, Wednesday, Aug. 28, 5-6:30 p.m.
  • Cottage Grove Elementary: Open House, Wednesday, Aug. 28, 5-6:30 p.m.
  • Crestview Elementary: Open House, Tuesday, Aug. 27, 5-7 p.m.

  • Cottage Grove Middle School: Sixth Grade Open House/Orientation, Thursday, Aug. 22, 6-7:30 p.m.; Open House/Orientation, Monday, Sept. 9, 6-8 p.m.
  • Lake Middle School: Sixth Grade Open House/Orientation, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 6-7:30 p.m.; Back to School Kick Off, Tuesday, Aug. 20, 12-7 p.m. & Wednesday, Aug. 21, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.; Open House/Orientation, Thursday, Sept. 12, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Oltman Middle School: Sixth Grade Open House/Orientation, Thursday, Aug. 22, 6-7:30 p.m.; Radier Roundup, Thursday, Aug. 29, 2-7 p.m. for all grades and 5-7 p.m. for grade 6; Open House/Orientation, Tuesday, Sept. 10, 5-7 p.m.
