Staff and faculty at –Woodbury campus spend a day volunteering at on Friday, May 20, for the university's annual Community Service Day.
Globe University/Minnesota School of Business designates one day each spring for Community Service Day. Each campus closes for an entire day so the staff and faculty can volunteer in their communities. The Globe University–Woodbury campus chose to spend their Community Service Day engaging with residents at Woodbury Senior Living by playing games, doing some yard work, and listening to stories of the seniors.

“Thank you for picking the Woodbury Senior Living to volunteer at for your Community Service Day,” said Margaret Wachholz, Activities Director at Woodbury Senior Living. “I honesty enjoyed each and every one of you! And, more importantly, so did our residents.”
Globe University–Woodbury decided to volunteer at the living center to learn more about the seniors living in our community.

“The Community Service Day was a very rewarding experience for me,” said Michelle Hartwick, Adult Admissions Representative. “The staff and residents were easy to talk to and had such interesting stories to tell. I can’t wait to go back and volunteer myself. Thank you.”
