Introduction to Microsoft Office:                                            

This workshop will introduce you to Microsoft Office.  Learn the basics to Microsoft Programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.                                                                  

Interviewing:

A skill to perfect to get hired! Do you feel like you’re receiving interviews but never getting hired? Analyze your past mistakes and learn new techniques to answer employer’s questions to become the number 1 candidate!                                                                                

Resume & Cover Letter Tips:     

Learn the importance of creating a winning Resume and Cover Letter to get noticed and invited to an interview.  Starting with the DOs and DON’Ts of these application materials then taking your basic Resume and Cover Letter to the next level to get noticed by employers.       

Copyright Basics:                                                 

This workshop will give you information about the who, what, where, when, why and how of copyrights. Music is the primary focus but text and lyrics will also be covered.  You will leave with material and examples after becoming educated in the vastness that is copyright.                                                                                                                                              

Introduction to Social Media:                                                  

Learn how to use social media marketing effectively and strategically grow your business. Live sessions with tips on social sites like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and more...

Self-Promotion Basics:                                            

This workshop will explore several methods that can be utilized by an aspiring recording artist or band to promote their music to the appropriate audience.  Topics covered will include: networking, gatekeepers, types of power and professionalism.                                                                                       

Introduction to Photoshop & Digital Photography:                                          

Be introduced  to some of the basics, and more powerful features, of Photoshop with digital images in a Mac lab environment. *Participants will receive a Free Flash Drive*
