Globe University-Woodbury Staff Donates to Minneapolis Tornado Victims

Globe University donates to Minneapolis tornado victims

Staff at the Globe University campus spent Wednesday, June 8, wearing jeans and donating to the victims of the Minneapolis tornado. Jeans you ask? Every staff and faculty member that brought in a donation recieved a sticker that gave them a free pass to wear jeans for the day.

The campus raised money and collected non-perishable items. All items were donated to The Prayer Center in North Minneapolis.

"It's people and businesses like you that make such a big difference," said Jariland Spence, Executive Director of The Prayer Center. "I am impressed that a business as far as Woodbury thought about us over here in Minneapolis. Thank you all and God Bless."
