Brief: Chamber Announces ‘Cash Grab’ For Woodbury Community Expo

The annual event is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, at the Bielenberg Sports Center.

The Woodbury Community Expo is typically a flurry of activity.

This year, that flurry will include cash.

The announced Thursday that the April 14 event will feature a cash grab—a giant box in which people try to collect as much money as they can while it blows around inside. (There is a time limit and people will have to wear goggles.)

It’s the latest addition to the expo, which will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, at the .

All adults will receive three tickets for the three cash grabs throughout the day, said Kim Snyder, the Woodbury Chamber’s membership director.

Other items of note at this year’s event, according to a release from the chamber: Mad Science, Bruce the Bug Guy, the University of Minnesota Raptor Center and local dancing/choral groups, in addition to the hundreds of business booths and food vendors.
