Brief: Tinucci's Closes Woodbury Location

The move came because a partner retired and was not related to performance, owner of Newport location says.

quietly closed its Woodbury location on July 1 after a partner retired.

The decision came because it would have been difficult to run the Woodbury spot—a deli rather than its longtime Newport restaurant—without him, according to owner Gus Tinucci.

The move had nothing to do with the performance of the Woodbury location, Tinucci said. The restaurant has had a spot in the city for the past eight and a half years, he said.
