Coffee on the Go: Woodbury OKs Starbucks Drive-Thru

The Woodbury Village Starbucks is planning a small addition with room for additional seating, as well.

The Woodbury City Council on Wednesday approved Starbucks’ plan to build a small addition and drive-thru at its Valley Creek Plaza coffee shop.

The 600-square-foot addition will be built on the east side of the structure, which Starbucks shares with Potbelly Sandwich Works. An access road will go in behind the building.

Rick Schroeder, vice president of construction at Robert Muir Company, said the work could potentially start this year, but it's looking more like the spring of 2014, with work completed in August of that year.
