Freeziac Plans Grand Opening for Woodbury Store

The July 12 event will also benefit the Woodbury Community Foundation.

Freeziac plans to hold a July 12 grand opening for its new shop in Woodbury, according to a release from the . (There are conflicting reports on when store will be open—one says July 6, another July 9.)

During the Woodbury grand opening, people can get a 16-ounce cup of frozen yogurt for $3. Proceeds from the event (5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 12) will support the Woodbury Community Foundation.

Freeziac officials in April told Patch of at the in Woodbury.

Freeziac gives customers the chance to create their own frozen treats, with options ranging from fresh fruit and nuts to candy and hot fudge.

“You build your own sundae,” co-owner John Mallon said at the time. “It’s that experience that makes it so fun.”

Freeziac will have a “coffee shop-type environment,” he said, with comfortable furniture, music and wi-fi availability. The cost of the concoctions goes by weight: 45 cents an ounce.
