Construction will commence within the coming weeks on the new HealthEast Woodbury clinic site at Tamarack Road and Woodbury Drive, according to HealthEast officials.
The clinic is expected to open later this year, and will include pediatric and family medicine providers.
With the Woodbury community expected to continue to grow in population, this will be one of two new HealthEast clinics opened during the next two years. The second HealthEast clinic will be located on the Woodwinds Health Campus, and is expected to open in the spring of 2015.
It will be located in the former Children’s Hospital clinic.
In addition, HealthEast Cancer Care is expanding, and will offer services at Woodwinds Health Campus and at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood. Services are expected to come online in January 2015.
