Openings, Closings, Remodeling: Washington County Business Roundup

Are you wondering what businesses are opening or closing in the east metro or otherwise making the news? Here’s an update from the last few weeks.

The following is a collection of business related articles that recently appeared on Oakdale Patch, Woodbury Patch and Stillwater Patch.  


Airsoft Station, an airsoft retailer, expanded its business from online to opening a retail store in Oakdale.

The fast-food chain in Oakdale reopened on Tuesday, Aug. 21 after wrapping up most of its remodeling.

City Council members attended a groundbreaking event for a new business building its company headquarters in Oakdale.

The electronics, appliances and accessories store in Oakdale is getting remodeled.

Tom Griffith Sod got approval from the Oakdale City Council to make vast upgrades to its site.


A new women's boutique, Suzetra, will open this fall at Woodbury Lakes.

The former Throwbacks location has closed, according to the Woody’s website.

Officer Jeff Gottstein owns a technology company whose records-management software is used by about 165 police departments in Minnesota.

The Woodbury Chamber of Commerce held an event for the furniture store on Wednesday.

All American Segway is introducing two new tours this fall — one around Lake McKusick and Pioneer Park in Stillwater, and another that crosses the St. Croix River from Lakeland into Hudson's Lakefront Park.
