Cabela’s, in conjunction with Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc., has submitted an application for a Planned Unit Development, Conditional Use Permit, Preliminary Plat and Site and Building Plan. The applicant is requesting to build a Cabela’s retail store and PUD approval for multiple retail pad sites which may include fast food, gas/convenience store and/or multi-tenant retail. The property is located south of I-94, west of Radio Drive and north of Hudson Road.

Cabela's in January announced its plans to build a new store in Woodbury. Construction is expected to begin this summer.

“Minnesota offers a tremendous array of outdoor pursuits and that has been highlighted by the commitment and loyalty of Cabela’s customers across the state,” CEO Tommy Millner said in a release. “Cabela’s has had remarkable success in the East Grand Forks, Owatonna and Rogers locations and we expect similar results in Woodbury.”

Jerry's Enterprises announced its plans for a new grocery store in February; it's is meant to anchor the future commercial development at the mixed-use Bielenberg Gardens, at the southwest intersection of Radio Drive and Bailey Road.

“We’re very excited to be bringing grocery-anchored retail to serve southern Woodbury,” Keith Ulstad, senior vice president of development at United Properties, said in a release. “Our goal is to create a shopping center that will meet residents’ day-to-day needs with amenities such as a grocery store, coffee shop, gas station and pharmacy.”
