Photography Studio Plans Grand Opening in Woodbury

Melissa Miroslavich has moved her studio from St. Paul to Woodbury.

Photographer Melissa Miroslavich will soon open the doors to her new location in Woodbury, with an event planned for Thursday, Oct. 4.

Previously based in St. Paul, Miroslavich Photography will be located at 700 Commerce Drive, near Dorothy Ann Bakery.

"We have outgrown our St. Paul space, and although we love the Lowertown St. Paul area, we want to make everything more convenient for our clients," Miroslavich said in a release. "Moving just six minutes east gives clients easy access and parking at our front door."

Miroslavich Photography work with Woodbury's Pomegranate Designs and CocoBello Design in Hudson, Wis., on the design of the new Woodbury studio, and she plans to collaborate with Dorothy Ann Bakery for children's photography sessions.

"Your birthday boy or girl can have their one-year photography session in our studio, as their 'smash' cake is delivered from Dorothy Ann Bakery right next door," said Miroslavich, a mother of two children. "Your child's first bites of birthday cake and the messy fun that comes with it will all be captured in professional photos that will last a lifetime."

Miroslavich Photography will also feature “PhotoStyled Sessions.”

“PhotoStyled is for clients who want extra help putting the finishing touches on clothing coordination," Miroslavich said. "It's for clients who want it all. It’s for when good enough, just isn’t."

Thursday’s event will run from 6:30-8 p.m. It is open to the public. There will be a photo booth, prizes, music, and “some surprises,” according to the release.
