A new restaurant is coming to the former space in Woodbury, according to a report.

Aperitif has been and its former owner, JLT Group, Inc., was the .

"It's a beautiful space," Anoush Ansari, Hemisphere's managing partner, told the Business Journal of the Woodbury location. "We like second-generation spaces that are still in good shape and don't need a huge startup investment."

That's a really tough location right now. Maybe in 5-10 years when the rest of that development has filled out and blossomed, but right now, it just seems to sit alone and lonesome on its outlot.
Tamarack Hills II (the name of the master planned development) is looking to add about 80K square feet of retail to the currently sluggish 60K square feet of retail across the street. I know that Patch DOES have a real estate guru, but it seems to me that retail commercial real estate is very soft right now, as is the large floorplan office sector...Perhaps something on that site like the multi-story, multiple tenant office space like on Weir Drive just north of the Woodwinds health complex. I might be wrong. My daughter tells me that this happens often.

ANy chance of Aperitif gift cards being honored at the new reteraunt or is there some other way to redeem them?

Oohf, I don't know. If you heard about what happened to the old ownership group, I'd say no.
