Target Date Set for Opening of New Woodbury McDonald's
The new McDonald's is part of the latest round of development at the so-called Commerce Hill site near SuperTarget.
Construction is underway on a new McDonald's off Woodbury Drive.
The hope is that it will open around July 25, according to owner Pat Duval, whose family also owns the existing McDonald's on Weir Drive. He acknowledged that the date is a "moving target."
A groundbreaking was held in early May, and city officials at a recent Woodbury City Council meeting said it was a 90-day build.
The new McDonald's is part of the latest round of development at the so-called Commerce Hill site near SuperTarget.
Other business, including a nail salon and waxing studio, are going in at a new building at the site, and a Chuck E. Cheese's is also planned there.
