The New Addition at Angelina’s Kitchen in Woodbury

A wine bar is also planned at the Woodbury restaurant.

This summer, Angelina’s Kitchen announced plans to combine the kitchen and café.

On Friday, Oct. 5, Angelina’s Kitchen Italian Bistro and Catering opened up its new space, which features full table service and more seating.

“It’s the same food, just in a nicer atmosphere,” owner Angela Verrastro told Patch on Wednesday.

Many people didn’t realize Angelina’s Kitchen offers a full menu, she said, and there are weekly specials—lobster ravioli and beef stroganoff, for example—along with breakfast available Friday through Sunday.

The changes aren’t complete. A wine bar is planned for November, when a grand opening will be held. Angelina’s is set to offer craft beer and “a really interesting, moderately priced wine list to compliment our food,” Verrastro said.

Later this year, people will be able to get a meal, wine and cappuccino and dessert after dinner, she said.

“I feel like we’ve got all the right pieces for a great night out,” Verrastro said.

Customers have been impressed, she said.

That was the case for Jan Schiff, who comes in a couple of times a month, usually for the wraps with Thai peanut sauce. “And I like all their pastas,” she said.

“I love it. I think it’s great,” Schiff said. “I just like to support locally owned businesses.”

Located at 2170 Eagle Creek Lane, Angelina’s Kitchen Italian Bistro and Catering is open seven days a week: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
