Woodbury Business Selected as Provider at Central Park

Angelina's Kitchen Was Established In 2006.

Angelina’s Kitchen will be the new food and beverage service operator inside Woodbury’s Central Park, pending City Council approval at its Jan. 22 meeting, according to a press release from the city. 

The new eatery will be tabbed Angelina’s Café and is expected to open in March. 

“Angelina’s will provide expanded menu options and competitive pricing,” Jodi Sauro, recreation supervisor, said. “They are an established entity in the community and their customer service philosophy is a great fit for our patrons and partners at Central Park. We are excited to work with them.”

Angelina’s Kitchen was established in the Eagle Valley Market Place near the intersection of Valley Creek Road and Woodbury Drive in 2006, according to the city's press release. The full-service restaurant and wine bar has been in operation since November 2012. 

Moreover, Angelina's Kitchen has been voted Best Place for Take Out, Best Place for Coffee, Best Caterer, Best Place for Pasta and Best Place for Dessert in local competitions sponsored by Woodbury Magazine and Woodbury Patch. The restaurant will remain open.

Angelina’s Café at Central Park will offer a "full menu of coffee and espresso drinks, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner options," according to the city's press release. 

The menu also will feature ice cream in addition to many gluten free and vegetarian choices for those with special dietary needs.

“We are delighted for the opportunity to serve the visitors at Central Park,” Angela Verrastro, owner and operator of Angelina’s Kitchen, said. “It’s such a beautiful facility and is one of the city’s most popular year-round gathering places.” 

The City of Woodbury’s lease with the previous food and beverage provider, Cups ‘n Scoops, expired Oct. 31.
