Woodbury ‘House Hunters’ Episode To Air Nov. 8

Featuring a young Woodbury couple and two area Realtors, the HGTV program will have a local flair next week.

Last winter, Patch brought you , a young couple that was filmed for an upcoming episode of the popular HGTV show House Hunters.

The episode is set to air at 9 p.m. on Nov. 8. (*)

Producers for the show contacted Woodbury natives Sara Yocum and Jodi Klepac, twins who work out of the office on Commons Drive in Woodbury. Klepac (nee Joynson) had previously appeared on House Hunters when she was living in Chicago a few years back.

For those unfamiliar with the program, HGTV follows real estate agents and their clients through home-buying process. They go to three locations, outlining the plusses and minuses of each, and eventually a home is chosen.

Elisha and Justin sent HGTV a tape with their story before they were picked. The show's producers liked that the couple was open about the fact that they're upside-down on their condo, Elisha said. Plus, they have diverging views of what makes a good home—Justin likes a newer home and Elisha was looking for something more classic.

As for why Yocum and Jodi Klepac were choosen?

"We're twins, living in the Twin Cities," Klepac said.

Last December, that she's always enjoyed House Hunters.

"I'm a huge fan of HGTV. I love to watch the show and see the expressions of the homebuyers," she said.
